Featured Member Friday: Ashley Johnson Hinton

Each week we highlight one of our members by asking them why they started CrossFit and what keeps them coming back for more!

This week our featured member is Ashley Hinton from CFP! It is also Ashley’s THREE year anniversary with R2R Fitness! Way to go, Ashley! We are so glad to have had you as part of our community for this long! Here’s to you and many more years in the future!

1. When did you start CrossFit?

I started CrossFit 3 years ago, TODAY!

2. Why did you start CrossFit?

I started because just going to a gym full of machines doesn’t work for me. I need someone in the gym to tell me what to do, how to do it and to then basically make me do it! I wanted small classes at convenient times for my crazy schedule. I researched CrossFit and honestly thought it was way to advanced for me, but there were small classes at times that met my needs so I gave it a shot and the rest is history!

3. What’s your favorite thing about coming to CrossFit?

I learned quickly that my favorite part was the people that made up the gym. The encouragement I have received from other people has kept me going during some rough workouts, and most all of my PRs are because someone next to me told me I could do more than I thought I could. ❤
